Changed the Blog Template/Layout

I found this template from Our Blogger Templates, which offers free XML templates for Blogger and all are customizable. I used the Brownium template and used a different header graphic that I got from Free Webpage Headers. I used Photoshop CS2 to add the blog title/description.

 

Love the current template/layout! It has a country-theme going on and since we’re moving to the countryside, it’s the perfect choice! I love the previous template, but the bright colors were starting to get to me. Hope you like the new look!

Today’s Irish Dance Video of the Week is an awesome practice video of 4-time World Champion Ciara Sexton from the Turley Academy Of Irish Dancing in the UK. She’s the one on the right with dark hair. She just flows in her steps. She’s my idol! :D

Tracking Our Finances – Jan. 9th – 15th, 2010

Here’s our spending summary:

STARTING BALANCE = $0.00

TOTAL INCOME = $1,610.47 this month (same as last week)

  • Rollover from Dec. 2009
  • Christmas gift
  • Salary paid on Jan. 7th
  • Verification deposits from Paypal.

TOTAL EXPENSES = $1,209.14 this month

  • Transferred $200.00 into out Moving Fund.
  • Paid ER medical bill for December 2009 and January 2010 = $101.26
  • Paid Victoria’s Secret store card = $60.00
  • Paid Express store card = $60.00
  • Paid Capital One card = $175.00
  • Paid Sears card = $59.00. It’s actually paid off last month, but they charged me the $59.00 annual fee. I need to call and close the account.
  • Bought food at ALDI = 53.11 and spent $26.92 on dining out and Hubby’s lunch at work. $155.40 over the budget
  • Spent $6.84 on Second Life. $37.06 over the budget

ENDING BALANCE = $343.36 as of today

We need to improve more on budgeting our food expenses and Hubby’s spending on Second Life.

Hubby gets paid on Thursday of next week and I hope to make more extra money to add to our Moving Fund.
